Free Download Manager allows you to download files in several takings.
To start download, select Downloads | Start Download or press Shift+S or simply click the
button.
To stop download, select Downloads | Stop Download or press Shift+O or click the
button.
To restart download, select Downloads | Restart Download or press Shift+R.
You can also go Downloads | Start Download automatically to make FDM begin the selected download as soon as possible after you launch FDM.
Please note that some servers do not support download resuming. If this is the case, you can force the program not to try resuming. To do this, just check the Don't restart the download if resuming is not supported by server in the Miscellaneous tab of the Default download settings dialog box.
The color of the current download indicates if download resuming is supported:
red - download resuming is not supported;
green - download resuming is supported;
yellow - unknown.
